Are products on Boop Authentic?
We only source directly from brands, their authorised distributors or retailers.
Do beauty products have expiration dates?
Beauty products do have expiration dates, determined by a shelf life and a 'Period After Opening' (PAO) guideline. The shelf life, which indicates how long products can remain unopened, typically ranges from 3 to 7 years. Once opened, products are marked with a PAO symbol, showing how long they remain effective; for example, '12M' indicates 12 months of usability after opening. General expiration periods include: foundation and concealer (12-18 months), mascara and eyeliner (6 months), lipstick and lip gloss (12-24 months), creams and serums (12-18 months), and hair care products (12-18 months). It's important to monitor these timelines to ensure product efficacy and safety.
How do you check the product condition?
Under each product listing we will state the product condition so our customers understand why the product is discounted. For example, Excess Inventory - meaning the brand or manufacturer over produced.
What if I'm not satisfied with my order?
You have 14 days from the date of receiving your item to initiate a return. While all orders are eligible for returns, certain products cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons, including items that are opened or used, have broken seals, or may deteriorate or expire quickly. To return an item and receive a refund, please contact us via our Contact Us page and provide your order number. We will respond within 72 hours to process your return. This policy does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods or products that are not as described.
What is Boop's shipping policy?

Customers are responsible for entering correct addresses, and refunds for undeliverable orders will incur a £5 charge. Non-delivery claims must be made within 21 days, and returns are accepted within 14 days.
Why are products on Boop discounted?
We source luxury beauty & wellness products directly from brands when they’ve made too much, reformulated, discontinued, changed their packaging or if items have aesthetic imperfections like missing or dented boxes... and we keep them out of landfill.
Why is shopping on Boop more sustainable?
At Boop, we aim to combat the staggering waste in the beauty industry, where over $4.8 billion worth of products, equivalent to the entire skincare industry in France, go to waste each year. With more than 10% of beauty products wasted in supply chains and overproduction responsible for 6.2% of discarded goods, around 90 million beauty items—many unopened yet perfectly usable—are thrown away annually in the UK. We rescue these excess and imperfect products, offering you premium brands and quality at significant savings while helping to reduce waste.
